Changing Technological Environment

Question 3. How can the firms cope up with changing technological environment?
Answer 3.        INTRODUCTION :
In this global technological environment , many of us can feel overwhelmed keeping up-to-date with new technologies, methodologies, governance, standards, policies, frameworks, software development, engineering.Technology is implemented in almost every part of our lives, impacting us in many different ways. Being a technologist myself, I frequently think of how to cope these changes.

  DISCUSSION :
Coping with fast paced technological changes is a challenging task. It requires learning and unlearning and oftentimes requires a great deal of time that many of us simply cannot dedicate. And yet, without committing that time, you are falling behind and becoming less competitive in the marketplace, especially when you are trying to grow or seek a new opportunity. You may wish that you started early or learned how to how to cope with the constant changes. But always remember: it is neither too late to start learning! It's easy to fall in the trap of complacency. Once we're out of school and into the workplace, we may not feel a drive to continue learning new things. For many, we only learn what is necessary for our everyday job requirements. That was just fine when technological and industry changes very slow. In the past, there was less to know in the field of technology and advancements sure did'nt impact us as quickly day-to-day-even as little as 5, 10 and 15 years ago. Even today, there are some jobs that may not required use of advanced technology. It all boils down to us coping and keeping up. That may seem intimidating.
      CONCLUSION:
In order to keep a positive attitude towards learning, focus on keeping your brain sharp for when there is inevitably a need to learn, you can adapt and quickly pick things up instead of struggling. There are a few things everyone can do: spare a few minutes everyday to learn what is going on. Use that time to better understand what is happening around the world and the role you play, monitor technological changes and think you can help your organisation and clients.
