Q3. Changing Technological Environment

Assignment-1
Business Environment and Indian Economy

Q3. How can the firms cope up with changing Technological environment?
(Source- LinkedIn)
In this global technological environment, many of us can feel overwhelmed keeping up-to-date with new technologies, methodologies, governance, standards, policies, frameworks, software development, engineering, etc. Technology is implemented in almost every part of our lives, impacting us in many different ways. Being a technologist myself, I frequently think of how to cope these changes.

Particularly over these recent years, you may hear of something new, seemingly every day and leaving you feeling out of touch. During casual conversations, social gatherings, and happy hours, those around us excitedly describe a new technology, using buzz words that may as well be in a different language and perhaps leaving you feel left out or left behind. But you needn’t feel that way. It also does not mean that you don’t need to know or learn how to keep up with what is out there. The key is your approach to learning or keeping pace with technology. It can alleviate feeling bogged down or as though you’re in a never-ending competition of knowing the latest and greatest. Knowledge is power and ignorance is bliss, but happiness is all about striking that perfect balance. In the world of technology, the bigger issue is how to learn (and sometimes unlearn) all the changes rocking our industry every day.We are all capable of improving our lives by managing and integrating changes in technology.
Coping with fast paced technological changes is a challenging task. It requires learning and unlearning and oftentimes requires a great deal of time that many of us simply cannot dedicate. And yet, without committing that time, you are falling behind and becoming less competitive in the marketplace, especially when you are trying to grow or seek a new opportunity. You may wish that you started earlier or learned out how to cope with the constant changes.
In today's incredibly fast paced markets and operating environments, it's safe to say that conditions are downright tough in many organizations when it comes to getting the latest technologies out in the field and creating a positive impact for the business in a timely manner.
Then there is the tremendous pace of technology change itself, which is squeezing organizations to do more and more in every budget cycle. Combine this with a growing list of large -- and very different -- new platforms and technologies for cloud computing, mobility, big data, digital engagement, and now AI/machine learning, and you have a near perfect storm of competing priorities.
In the end I would like to conclude that by being aware of changing technologies one can help all areas of your business runs soomthly and efficiently.
